Help with losing weight for military

Hi everyone! After reading through this sub and seeing how everyone here is so motivating, i’m taking the courage to ask for some help in the steps needed to accomplishing my goal.

Abit of my background: served my time as a conscript in the army; equivalent to a marine infantryman. (We don’t have a marine corps but my former unit does everything a marine corps would do. Plus air assault! Shout out to the US marines we trained with from 2/7 golf gunfighters!) Mid 20’s, Male

Got out, did some jobs here and there but things happened along the way and I lost my self accountability in taking care of my body, gained rapidly but was in denial. I weighed 110kg at my heaviest. Fast forward, decided to Pursue a career in the military again. Unfortunately, as my weight and BMI isn’t really healthy, I am unable to enter the military as I am now. Fortunately my recruiter is extremely supportive and has given me 6 months to drop to a healthy BMI, and after calculating it would be at 85kg. I’ve been running everyday, and placed myself on a calorie deficit, and I’ve seen my weight drop from 107kg to 106kg in a week.

My question is, what extra steps can I take in order to lose weight quickly but not harm my body, any diets I should stick to, and how I can motivate myself to push harder when it gets hard.

Thanks everyone! Nothing but love.
