Need motivation to get under 200lb

24/M ; 5”10 and been hovering around 225lb for almost 3 years now.. pretty tired of having the beer belly and would like to be able to run around a bit more and not be so out of breath. I always do little spurts of working out but it’s been harder for me since I had my meniscus surgery, also have a weak right wrist. I make these excuses so I don’t stick with exercising long term and have never lost even 10lb in my life.. just slowly gaining weight over the years.. was probably 180 when I was 19 and im honestly just trying to get under 200 at the moment. What are good exercises with no gym that aren’t to reliant on knee bending and holding my weight with my wrists? All I really do right now is play basketball by myself and go on walks. But I really do want to commit and LOSE WEIGHT. I am cutting out junk food , candy, fried food and trying to keep my calories under 2000. Thanks for any suggestions/advice.
