I might be missing something here.. I find tracking calories via an app to be a little tedious because if I'm trying to eat more non labeled foods (i.e. fruits, veggies, meats). There isn't really a barcode for me to scan or nutrition facts for me to glance at. Then I'd break out my trust food scale and do things that way, which is a pain.
But if I'm eating a lot more fruits and veggies than processed foods, wouldn't counting calories be somewhat of a lost effort due to the mentality that not all calories are created equal? And if my reasoning is really off, can you explain to me why? And any tips on how to be better at recording my calorie intake and macros? LoseIt is my favorite app so far.
