Better ways to cook fresh veggies

I want to increase the times I eat fresh greens. My enemies usually are preparedness, taste, time and convenience. I don't like how most frozen vegetables taste. Usually they are watery, low on taste, and there is too much of the bad parts included (for example with broccoli). I like the steamfresh brand stuff that has corn .. but it's corn.

I have various sizes of stackable containers. In the past I have done well making morning breakfast omelets with chopped bell peppers and onions. These last a week.

Have there been any technological advances to cook other fresh greens?

I AM lazy. The main reason I have a rice cooker is that I don't have to babysit it. Turn it on, it takes however long it wants to take, keeps it warm.
