Anyone work on improving sleep to help with their weight loss journey?

Hi Everyone,

I have read several articles that link poor sleep/feeling tired to overeating. I believe it as I've experienced it. For me, weight loss is a goal that is part of the bigger picture of wanting to improve my health. For the past 8 or so years, I've had more sleep issues. Sometimes, I go through windows of brutal insomnia. My poor sleep pattern usually looks like falling asleep easily around 10 pm and then waking up between 1-3 and not being able to go back to sleep for 2-3 hours, if at all.

I've been reading about sleep hygiene and do many of the recommendations but not all of them. I'd love to have more consistent and better quality of sleep to feel better, to improve my health and also to help with my weightloss journey. So, I'm wondering has anyone actively worked on improving their sleep? If so, what did you do? Ultimately, did your improved sleep help with your weight loss?
