i'm starting my fitness journey (again..) advice for teen? any is appreciated :')

hi everyone! i just joined this sub, and i'm already feeling very motivated by all your posts. Losing weight has always been a struggle of mine, but i've finally decided that it's time to achieve the healthiest version of myself. i'm ready to put in the work!!

before, i had lost about 2 lbs in a week but in the second week going-on-third-week my weight was stagnant, which really demotivated me and caused me to give up. i was eating less calories than i was burning, drank lots of water, and did some sort of cardio everyday (ran/walk 2 miles and/or HIIT workouts/dance workouts). i cut down lots of carbs and sugar as well. i even tried to follow the 16/8 intermittent fasting plan but wasn't quite strict on that routine. What was I doing wrong? How should I create my diet plan this time so that I feel full while also getting the nutrients my body needs? Should I meal prep? Continue with my intermittent fasting? How much exercise should I do everyday? and what kinds of exercise?

i'm about 5'2" and 149 lbs. I really want to get to 120 lbs for real this time. Please leave any advice for a beginner just getting into fitness. thank you in advance for your help! :)
