Another post...I’m done wasting time

It has been almost a month and I am down 17 pounds. I weighed in at 163 this morning, down from 180 at the start of June. I was thinking about how wonderful this month has been. Finally I am sticking to my plans and making it happen. I actually feel happier.

Then I was casually going through lists and photos in my phone when I realized I have delayed SO many dreams over the last couple of years. I delayed my life due to the weight gain and being so unhappy with myself and very unhappy in general. Instead of doing something about the problem I made excuses and my life passed me by.

I have one day left in the month and I plan to finish strong. The best part is I did this all through diet alone. NO EXERCISE. Going into the second month I plan to add light walking the first week and move to long distance walking and then heavy weights/ running eventually.

I have to go back to my job next week. I have been working remote since March. I made a plan for this knowing how that change could easily derail me. One of my biggest triggers for unhealthy habits is stress and not having enough time. I ordered a couple weeks of premade meal prep to get myself situated and will figure out some easy meals I can prep on my own in the coming weeks.

I know now that I’m on a roll nothing can stop me and I will be at my goal very soon. A couple to a few months is nothing in the scheme of things. I look forward to doing all the things I postponed for literally no reason and to feeling healthy and happy consistently. If you’re looking for a reason to get started this is it. Don’t be like me. The longer you wait the more you will miss out on. You will always wish you had started sooner.
