Yesterday I cheated

Obligatory "sorry for mobile" and "sorry for English not being my first language".

I started IF with CICO a few weeks ago. I've already tried it in the past, it worked but I couldn't find the strength to continue on that path.

This new course is going pretty good, yesterday I had a nice meal that made me feel full and satiated. But after that, i started craving... I eat some cheese, then I went in my parent's house (they live under my apartment) and there I found some sweets. Eating was like an "out of body" experience, I was doing it but in a way it felt like was someone else doing it, someone else who was wrong.

When this happened in the past it was basically an avalanche going downhill, I felt ashamed by myself and I continued eating unhealthy the days after, jeopardizing all the previous work. But today is different, because of something I've read on the FAQ: we are here for the long run, we can still fall sometimes but what really matters is to try and stay on track as much as possible.

So this I want to say to anyone who's trying and struggling, don't let a single error let you down. Go on, this is something you're doing for yourself, to change your lifestyle, your appearance and your health. You won't do it in a day or in a month, this is scary because you will need time, but it means that a bad day won't ruin what you are doing.

In the end, when I weighted me today I still was a bit leaner than yesterday, so I wasn't punished that much. But even if I was, I still know that I just have to move on and continue trough my path. I wish you all the strength to do the same when things are rough.
