On the road again and back in the 200lbs!

Had enough of being fat. I've always been big my whole life and it's time to get back on the right track. I know its possible because I did it before. Man years ago I dropped from 315 to 210 in a span of roughly 9 months. And then I went away to the army. 8 years later I'm back at 300lbs.

Working out was not much of a problem for me. I would have a somewhat consistent routine then drop it down a few days a week then be off for a few weeks then back on but eating was always my issue. My gluttony got the best of me and I would always have to empty my plate. I wouldn't eat proportionately and I would "try" to eat clean/ healthy and would cheat myself by eating junk.

The last month and a half has been a total overhaul. Clean eating home cooked meals. More veggies and fruits and of course moderate portions that don't fill me stuffed but enough to subside my hunger. Also, my workouts have been more body weight/ HIIT/ running since lifting at the gym has been limited to 2 times a week. My wife and I had a baby in January so my time is limited to work (night shift) and then coming home to care for my son while my wife goes to work.

I like to credit this small success to my baby boy; I want to be able to play and keep up with him when he's older, IF (intermittent fasting), my younger self as a motivating drive, my wife for helping cook meals when I'm exhausted and all you beautiful people whom I see daily post your achievements to help others like me to get up and get it done.

Here's to many more pounds shed off and to live a fit and healthier life.
