MAINTENANCE FAILURE: Lost almost 50lbs in 11 months thanks to this subreddit, a stressful move left me out of my routine for 3 month s and I’ve gained 5 lbs...need a reality check so I don’t keep gaining!

Title explains it all!

I lost about 50lbs going from 190-140 (f/25/5’9) using motivation and guidance from this subreddit. I did mainly calorie counting as king and worked out 5 days a week with at home videos so I could eat more/improve my fitness. I lost steadily about a 1lb a week.

I moved from cutting to maintenance doing strength training videos. These were good for a couple months and eating a few hundred more calories was great. I found myself using it to eat junk more while still being in my calories instead of larger healthy portions.

Then we bought a condo and the stressful move happened where I took a break. I eventually stopped calorie counting fully and got lazy, and then i fully started to indulge. I probably would have gained more if I didn’t switch to walking to work 30 minutes each way with my move.

I’m now 147 and I need a reality check before I let it get too far. This is a slippery slope and I am looking for motivations to get back into my workout routine and maybe go back to calorie counting to cut for a while.

So maintenance so far has been a fail and I really don’t want to gain all my weight back :(

I think I can cut 5lbs in a month (about my average) if I am diligent with myself going back to my routine.
