I've been at maintenance for the past few months, taking a break from CICO, but I've still been trying to follow the 80/20 rule and I've still been going to the gym for at least 30-45 mins 3x a week.
The first 5k I did was an obstacle course one, similar in style to a Tough Mudder...the one I'm getting ready for today is just The Color Run, which isn't nearly as strenuous or competitive. Back before December of last year...the thought of waking up early for this would have nauseated me. My biggest NSV of my journey so far, has been the craving to work out. I can severely notice my body feeling off and my mental health feeling out of balance if I don't go to the gym all week. I'm only halfway through my goal, and have another 20-30 lbs to lose...but I feel great and the muscle training has definitely help make me look smaller than I actually am and I'm so thankful that past me decided to stick to something for once!
