Sv 5'2 154 (Jan 2019) to 136 (may 2019)

Hey all, long time lurker, excited to have something to post. I had a wake up call around Christmas/ New year's after I saw a picture of myself at Christmas Eve dinner. My jaw kind of dropped cause I hadn't realized how much the extra weight was effecting my frame/ build. Also, my jeans we're creating the donut all the way around effect when I buttoned them, which is not ok.

Basically I just ate less and stopped eating foods I am intolerant to. Prior to this I would eat whatever I wanted, which included donuts, fried foods, burritos, pizza. I realized I was constantly bloated and tried completely eliminating dairy and low and behold a simple fix changed things. I don't even let myself have it on special occasions or even if the pizza looks super amazing. I tell myself that it's not worth being in pain for hours. I also cut out alcohol almost completely, as well as chocolate because they're are headache triggers. I started having meal replacement shakr breakfast that were vegan and devoid of fake sweeteners. I tried garden of life and orgain so far and they are a good choice for breakfast rather than just grabbing whatever I can find. I also started avoiding sugary sweets and fried foods an trying to focus on whole foods.

My husband and I got a sous vide for Christmas and have been into cooking big cuts of meat and eating it over some rice. To get my veggies I prefer whole blender juicing . My current fav e is celery, spinach, green apple and mint.

Basically I overhauled the way I was eating and the only downfall has been that if I skip up, I regret it in the form of bloating and or diarrhea, so I've learned it's simply not worth it.

I hope this post can inspire someone to decide that today is the day to stop treating their body like shit and give it what it deserves.
