I always thought it was impossible for me to lose weight

Ive (F22, height: 5,7"-8, sw: 240, cw: 220, gw: 160) been overweight pretty much my entire life, and ive tried a dozen times to lose weight. I never lost anything and assumed i was a lost cause, this was just how my body was and id always be larger. Now that im trying really hard, (mostly!) Sticking to counting calories, the pounds are coming off quite easily.

Last week was a week full of graduations, and that means dinners out and lots of cake. I didnt even bother counting calories because i knew it was a lost cause, and i didnt want to limit myself during the celebrations. That's a whole other ballgame that i dont have the discipline for, nor do I really want to necessarily I thought id gain like 2 lbs back or something, but i was okay with that. I didnt gain any weight during that time at all, and i weighed myself today and i made a huge jump down! Maybe my habits are changing subconsciously and that's helping. I also have one or two meals a week where i just dont really care, and im happy that im making good progress! Gotta keep pushing forward to get to that goal!
