Has anybody who's taken allergy medication (like Claritin) noticed weight gain?
A few weeks ago I started taking a generic OTC allergy med and noticed some weight gain. I stopped and it went down and after a couple weeks and varying my daily calorie intake I even broke my plateu. A couple days ago and the rain stopped here so I started taking the medication again and it my weight is back up again. Some of that I know is from last Saturday. I went to a party and alcohol in super high in calories but the change is significant. It's about a 4-6lb swing.
TLDR can allergy meds cause weight gain/retention? Has anyone experienced this?
