Edit: sorry about the title, I'm doing this on mobile and didn't notice till it was too late.
Every hour, I've set an alarm for myself to get up from my desk and exercise. I'll take about 5 minutes to do 20 squats, 20 jumping jacks, and 20 wall push-ups. I might miss an hour or so if I'm busy, but throughout the day I usually make it to at least 100 of each exercise. I've worked my way up from 10 reps, to 15, to 20 the last few weeks.
Can this be as effective as doing it all at one time in a single workout?
Personally, it helps me from sitting too long and helps get my blood pumping. I don't intend to stop, but just curious what ya'lls thought are on the effectivness breaking up exercise like this.
P.S. I did bicycle crunches before but it started feeling really weird doing it in the office. Any ideas on core exercises I can do in the office ?
