So I started working with a PT two months ago to try and lose weight and get more active/stronger.
On that note, I want nobody telling me what a waste of money and time a PT is. I've heard it all before. I still go. Please leave it alone.
When I started there I weighed 12 stone 2lbs. She got me exercising and on a calorie deficit of eating 1900 calories a day. I immediately shot up to 12 stone 7lbs in about a week.
Slowly we've lowered my calories to 1700, and currently I'm on 1500 (had a cheat weekend so making it up, but I'm hoping to stick there if possible).
After 2 months, I weigh 12 stone 1.5lbs
Now I have dropped two inches around my waist which is a plus, but in my head I can see how easily that would be misread if I wasn't properly breathing out or something.
My boyfriend tells me I look thinner, and I'm happy with how my fitness is improving, but it's disheartening to not see the numbers go down.
I've been on my 1500 calories a day for 5 days and I've seen no weight change during that time either.
I know the numbers aren't everything, but it's so disheartening. It's like I'm eating this big deficit and working out 5 days a week and seeing no change.
Can anyone give me some help for seeing those NSVs?
