[Semi-NSV] I lost weight from a fluke and realized how unhealthy I was.

Last month I happened to get Strep Throat and The Flu at the same damn time. I'm not sure how, I'm just magical like that.
..I also work in close quarters with like 100 people in one big room and people trade colds and coughs like school kids trade pokemon cards. I'm working on changing my employment in general ASAP. The way I've been living in general is not so conducive to health.

Anyways, I slept for two weeks solid, with periods of fevered groaning, drinking copious amounts of water, eating popsicles and soup, and..

I lost serious weight. Since college I've always bordered around 280-290, because I do a lot of sitting and a lot of eating, and all-nighters with espreso, jolt cola, and donuts will wreck a human being. Now, almost twenty years later, I'm still feeling it. Every time I've tried to lose weight, I've lost interest like a week later, because it was eating up too much of my focus, etc.

But, when the flu passed (and left me with a week of Tonsilitis where even talking hurt, fuck you universe), none of my clothes fit, in a good way. My pants were falling down, my shirts hella loose. I punched a new belt hole going the other way, and realized I had ballooned up to around 325, and hadn't even noticed. Now I'm down around 285 and I've punched a second belt hole.

This isn't the journey. The journey's going to be long.

But this is the start.
This is Bilbo in the shire, Luke on Tatooine.

Lets blow up a Death Star, and melt the One Ring.
