This past weekend at work and then while visiting my parents I got asked if I lost weight. I’ve just been focusing on CICO since January and doing some workouts from BeachBody on demand for 1 month (30-60 min every other day). I don’t own a scale, because I used to obsessively stand on it and monitor my weight and that was so unhealthy for my mental and physical health. At work, Monday I stood on the scale and I’m down to 166 from my highest recorded of 186 in December 2018.
I’m elated. I had no idea that I could do this, and it’s keeping me motivated to keep going. My goal weight is around 150-155.
I don’t talk abut this one of my friends as she’s not super supportive as she’ll just compare how she’s not working out or she’s gained this or that etc (I know we all have our insecurities, but she’s just under 5’ and has never weighed more than 100lbs in her life- so it’s frustrating for me trying to celebrate my wins when she says how “fat” she is). SO thank you reddit for listening. ❤️
