My new commitment. Back to 2015(at least)!

About me, currently 6'4'', 34 years old, and 290lb. I peaked my weight when I got a high paying job and steadily grew until I was 308lb in dec 2013. My wife helped me get serious and reduced my weight to 239 by late 2015 in which I celebrated a low enough BMI to not be obese and get a 90/100 in a health check for work. I was pretty proud. Since then I was an alcoholic and stopped caring about myself, and today is enough. Quitting booze led me to food, and I need to stop that and take responsibility for my actions. I've said these words before but with spring here, I need to make a change now and pray my health can recover. I'm posting this ugly picture of myself at my current weight of 290, I'd ultimately like to be down to 220. Please don't roast my belly too much but maybe others out their can be motivated that they aren't alone. This won't be a easy or quick thing, but I plan to limit caloric intake to around 1750-2250 and at a minimum go for a couple mile walk each day until I can get back into running. I loved to run before.

I'm ready to live the rest of my life, not just live for the moment of the cheese pizza in front of me. My goals are to be able to skydive, and not have to do mental weight measurements when my lovely wife wants me to go on a fair ride with her. Any words of advice help but just browsing this sub helps already. Checking in daily is probably silly but I'll try to see you up to date with my progress.

Here is my lose it, showing clearly when I got my job in 2012 and could eat whatever I want, when I met my wife and she helped me(and herself :) she kept it off I didnt) and where I am at now. Hats off, and much love to her for supporting me no matter what weight I've been during our relationship and marriage.
