Mental/physical health

I’ve been going through a pretty rough patch recently, constantly feeling down, never feeling good enough, I’m never proud of anything I do and I have no sense of achievement. I’ve felt like this for such a long time and I recently it’s been getting too much!

I put it down to physical health, I’m 23M, 5’10 and on the 27th March I weighed 81KG. I’ve always started diets, but always looked in the mirror a couple weeks down the like and never looked different so I gave up. This time, I’ve managed to stick to it! Throughout the week, I am on a calorie deficit, but when it gets to the weekend, I’m more lenient with my dieting. It keeps me more motivated thy way!

I have quite a labour heavy job so I find it hard to work out after work, but i do as much as I can, wether it’s a 10 min row or jog, I try to go to the gym at least once a week to do some weights and every day I’ll do press-ups .

Anyway, it’s the 16th April now, and I must be doing something right as my upper body is looking a little more toned, I can feel I’m physically stronger, and I now weigh 77.3KG!

I no longer find it hard to plan a healthy meal and I don’t find it hard to make myself do exercise, it’s become more of a habit now!

The best part though, mentally, I feel GREAT!!! I completely believe there is a huge correlation between being physically healthier and having a more stable mental health.

Just wanted to spread some positivity :) Thank you all for reading!
