HELP! Need a strong diet and routine to help me lose to my target!

So the title really speaks for itself. I am a 29 year old male. I’m 6’2 and i weigh approximately 290 lbs. About 10 years ago i was around 175. I was very active (soccer athlete) and ate constantly. Well as you get into your twenties people tend to become less active and continue their eating habits. I am not immune to this common occurrence! I struggle with motivation mostly because i have the knowledge of exercising i just choose not to use it. We’re i lack the most is dieting. I struggle with keeping a healthy diet that is regular. If anyone could help me with a diet to help me start on the path of being healthy again that would be great!!!
