So the title says it all. I was going to a small 24 hour gym off and on, but I stopped going after the owner took my money and refused to give me the new code, among other things. The only other 24 hour gym in my area is way nicer, but as a result there are way more people. Even at midnight to 4 am there are 7 or 8 people there vs not seeing a soul from 9pm-6am before the gyms get really busy.
I've lost at least 30 pounds 3 times and gained it back (plus some more the second time around,) and I'm ready to make this one my last go of it and keep the weight off. Problem is that everyone is looking my way. I'm the Clydesdale clomping away on the treadmill, the hippo moving weights, and the moose grunting in the squat rack, sweating all over everything like a used car salesman near a polygraph machine (yes, I do wipe everything down and sanitize after use.) The 293 pound, 5'10", bald, bearded dude is hard to miss and it seems like all eyes are on me judging me to the depths of my soul the entire time they're not doing a set. Any advice on how to get over this? I'm used to going during the off hours at my old gym to get away from it, but I can't do that at the new one.
Thanks in advance!
