What does it take to realize being healthy is important?

I would like to share a little bit about myself and what lead me on a new journey to get healthy! After suffering a heart attack at the young age of 32 while pregnant was something I never dreamed could have happened to me! My life definitely changed that day in more ways than one . Feeling perfectly normal one day then the next day feeling like you lost who you were was a shock in itself. Then being told you had to watch what you eat ( I have always just eat what I wanted, being healthy was non existence ) and now I had to depend upon medications to survive. This was not the life I had planned on by no means. I felt like I was living in constant fear and the medications made me feel even worse. Fast forward, after living this life for about 12 years, I was introduced to a better way of living with just 2 pills 2x a day that was going to be life changing. And boy was it ever. After 4 days I was down 6lbs and feeling great. I had energy like never before ( of course the medications I was on was draining me of everything) and I started noticing that I was forgetting my medications and even skipping them some days. WOW talk about taking control of my life again! After about a 8 months I’m proud to say that I no longer take prescription medications and I’m down about 35 lbs! So being healthy is a very important part of living a longer and more active lifestyle. I have now been involved for about 2 1/2 years sharing with others so that they too may start a new journey to get healthy and take control of their life as I have done!
