So we have 82 days until June 1st, and this weekend was BAD for me! I didn't log and pretty much ate whenever and whatever I wanted. No exercise. No posting with you guys. Nothing.
.....and you know what? I don't mind.
Last year after 5 months straight of dieting and exercising I got really burnt out. I think it was because I was so strict with myself about things because I wanted the results sooner. There is nothing wrong with that by the way. Those of you who kicked butt this weekend, congratulations! You guys are rock stars! Those of you that took a step back like me, remind yourself that it's okay.
Also, taking a step back like this always gives me a boost when I get back to work. And that is what I am ready to do today. So for those of you out there who had the weekend weakness with me, let's get back to work!
How do you guys like to get back to work when you fall off your diet/exercise plan?
For me I like to start right away. I don't slowly ease back into things, I like to jump back in, usually with a lot of exercise. For some reason, sweating it out for me always feels like I am getting rid of all the bad stuff I ate and drank and getting back to feeling good.
