Struggling with losing belly fat

Background: Was a very chubby/fat kid growing up, hitting about 115-120kg at some point.

Then started running every day ~5.5km and lost the weight quite fast over the course of the year. Changed my diet and now eat very little fast food, almost no fried food, but still have an addiction to sugar.

I now maintain a healthy weight of 83-85kg (depending on the day) and weigh myself every day for the weight to be kept in check, but still, have quite a lot of ‘love handles’ that remained around my tummy area.

Now I assume these are ‘deep fat tissue’ cells that have accumulated over the course of 5-10 years in my teenage time, so I don’t think I can get rid of them fast, and under no impression do I think I can get ripped, but would love to get more defined and I do fully realise that will involve some changes to my diet.

A couple of question that I would love some advice on:
- Should I cut out alcohol completely?

- Should I be doing some exercise next to my daily running to target the ab section?

- Should I book some time with a personal dietician to get my diet in order?

- Will keeping track of everything I eat (eg. MyFintessPal) help my sugar cravings?

- How do I keep track of home-made meals - what does a meal of eg. 500cal look like portion wise?
