Struggling with 10 lbs and sick of yo-yo-ing.

Has anyone else ever struggled to lose a relatively small amount of weight and successfully keep it off? Especially smaller folks where seemingly every calorie counts? As someone who is new to this community, I’m looking for words of encouragement.

For the past couple of years, I (F29, 5”3, cw: 135, gw:125, TDE ~1400) have had a very hard time getting down to my goal weight. At one point, I dipped down to 120, but the abbreviated version is that I had an eating disorder, subsisting off of protein shakes, veggies, and sugar free jello and working out for three hours every day. It was a dark time.

It seems like every time I begin to lose a few pounds, I also lose the will to be so meticulous with my diet. It’s so, so hard to count every calorie and avoid going over my calorie limit when it’s so small.

I’m fairly active and rock climb several times a week. I am planning on adding running back into the mix, as I am training for a big hiking challenge at the end of May.
