So we have 65 days until June 1st and today I wanted to ask you guys about how you listen to your bodies.
Tuesday night I worked out after having skipped quite a few days and SERIOUSLY overdid it! Like I had to lay down for awhile kind of overdid it. Well last night I didn't want to let myself down and skip the gym but I knew I was pretty sore from working out so hard previously. So I didn't go the gym.
And it was awesome!
I went home, saw my family, had supper, then all of us went on a nice walk together. We ended up being gone for almost an hour! It may not have been as hard of a workout as I normally do but I was moving and this morning I wasn't sore at all!
I am so glad I stopped and listened to my body instead of pushing myself further. Sometimes I get so hung up on doing my workout the same way every day that I forget to listen to what my body needs. So today I am going to open my ears and keep trying to listen to what my body needs instead of what I want!
