NSV: fit into old pair of jeans

20M/5”10’/SW:312 CW:293 GW:200? Today my girlfriend wanted me to go to the store to get groceries with her, but I realized that all of my pants were in the washer. I went into my closet and pulled out a bag of jeans that I’ve been hanging onto just in case I’m ever skinny enough to wear them, and to my surprise one of them fit! They are size 40 at the waist and my normal jeans are size 44, and I know for a fact that they didn’t fit me in January because I tried them all on.

Since the end of January I’ve had a couple weeks of religious calorie tracking which turned into just developing better eating habits. Stopped tracking and have just been trying to be more mindful of my food choices and stopping myself from eating when I’m not actually hungry. I’ve also been exercising a little more than usual, going to the gym 2-5 times a week for light cardio and weight lifting. I even managed to keep my weight down over spring break, which ends today. I only weigh myself once a week because otherwise I obsess over the scale.

Felt super cool walking along in my skinnier jeans, and now I have a couple of pairs in smaller sizes that I can’t wait to try on in another month or two. Thanks for reading and good luck!
