Life lessons from my toddler

Hi losers!! I am so close to my GW (15 lbs away!! Ahhhh!!). I’ve stopped counting calories a few months back since I feel like I know when I should stop eating, I recognize when I’m full, etc. I am still losing and I expect to be at my GW by this summer.

Anyway, since I’ve been a lot more conscious of understanding when I’m “full” and when I am truly “hungry”, I feel like i am barely understanding a concept my toddler has mastered - I don’t need to finish my plate if I’m full!! It doesn’t matter if he is eating his most favorite meal, when he’s full, he is full. Not one single bite is getting into his little mouth. It’s something I noticed, and when we’re eating lunch together, he turns into my little inspiration. He still has a little broccoli cheddar soup left, but he is DONE. I finished my BLT sandwich, I KNOW I’m not hungry anymore, but why do I want to keep eating? So I look over to my son, content with the amount of food he’s eaten.. understanding that yes, he satisfied his hunger, he is done eating. So wise, that 17mo old. I learn life lessons from him everyday ❤️❤️
