I feel stupid about feeling this amount of disbelief, but I have seriously never lost weight before unless it was part of a starvation/crash/binge cycle. I’ve tried low carb, going vegetarian, meal replacement shakes, running 10 miles a day, etc. Turns out all I need is Calories In vs Calories Out.
Since March 1st I have given up booze (the hardest part but not as bad as I thought it would be,) calorie counted in MyFitnessPal with about a 500 calorie deficit each day, and worked out 2-3 times a week.
Y’all. I’ve lost 10 pounds. 10 freakin pounds in 15 days. I can’t fucking believe it.
I’m sure it’s mostly water weight but I can’t believe how much better I’m already feeling!
My face is less puffy. My pants fit better and I don’t have as much of a muffin top since my belt it looser. I’m not so tired when I wake up. I’m actually feeling optimistic about things. I ate a piece of cake at a work party and didn’t feel like absolute shit afterwards because it “ruined my day,” I just fit into the daily calorie goal.
This feeling is amazing.
I’m hooked. CICO is the greatest thing ever!
