I've been eating a ton of wood ear mushrooms in big veggie stir fries because I was thrilled about their low calorie content. I was weighing them out with their dry weight and logging them into MFP - 14 g for 50 calories. (Packaging nutrition facts do not say dry weight, like a package of rice might.)
When reconstituted, this much becomes roughly 4-5 cups!
Now another few source on Google says a one cup serving is 80 calories. Dried? Reconstituted? What is it?! Amazon sellers all have different nutrition content as well.
😩 How do you find the truth about foods with conflicting nutritional information?
