Long time lurker, not a fan of tooting my own horn but I’m feeling good considering the celebratory tone of this weekend so I figured “Why not?”
I started in January at 244. My goal was to be below 220 by my birthday, which was yesterday. last week I had a doctors appointment, and I weighed in at 218. i’m sure I’ll gain a bit since I’m letting myself go off the rails for a long birthday weekend, but I crushed that goal so I’m feeling okay about it.
It was mostly diet, but I’ve been running every other day and that’s helped keep everything on track. I’m past the point of hating it now, so I start to get excited on run days.
