Looking for cognitive tips (or pep talks or other tricks) for getting out of a a vicious cycle I keep finding myself in.
If I work out first thing in the morning I find that I always want to eat fresh, healthy, tasty food for the rest of the day. This is awesome and it makes my body feel awesome.
If I don't work out in the morning, I find that I just want quick and easy fast food. I'll eat that, and then feel too sluggish to work out later in the day.
I need to break this pattern but I am finding it REALLY hard. I know that what I eat is more important than my workouts but for me the two seem to go hand in hand and I don't know how to overcome the all-or-nothing thought patterns.
