I don't think the calorie limit has to do with it but I thought it might be important.
I eat 1000-1200 calories a day of vegetables, protein rich foods like fish, turkey and egg whites, and at night I usually have a bowl of soup. I haven't gone over 1200 in a month, not through people pressuring me, not through my fiance cheating and not through my period. I'm an emotional eater.
Lately I'm craving a real meal. To me, that's sushi, a big platter of sushi. Is there any way that I can have a day where I go over my calories and still stay on track? I'm planning it for the weekend so it gives me enough time to decide if I really need this meal.
Can I bounce back after? Are there certain steps I should take before and after I do this? How do I not go off the rails completely? Honestly, I feel like a failure when I think about going over my limit and I'm scared that I'll never get where I'm trying to get if I can't push through this feeling.
Any advice? Do any of you have cheat meals and what do you do personally?
Sorry if this offends anyone, I've never posted here.
