I've been doing intermittent fasting on and off for about 2 years now. It just fits my busy schedule well; I don't particularly do it for any health reasons. Almost always I eat between 12-8 p.m.
My typical diet is:
Around noon- This meal is always the same
1 cup low fat greek yogurt with banana, 1/4 blueberries, and 1 cup of granola.
1 large salad containing 2 cups mixed greens, 1.5 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup tomatoes, 1/2 cup carrots, and a light vinaigrette
1 Whey protein shake w/ water
1 can of v8
Around 7 p.m.- this meal changes but this is something I would typically eat
2 slices wheat toast
3 eggs
2 cups of kayle cooked with vegtable oil
1 Whey protein shake w/ almond milk
I'm trying to clean up my diet the best I can. I have been eating something like this consistently for about 2 months now. This isn't a question of is this sustainable, I am able to eat this without complaints. My question is: Would you consider this a healthy diet? And if not what recommendations would you make?
Thank you!
