Hi everyone,
I weighed myself this morning and I have officially hit a loss of 80 lbs! My current weight is 150 and I have a goal weight of 135 (adjusted from 140). I told myself that when I started to get close to my goal weight, I would start slowly start tapering towards maintenance as I have been pretty hardcore on a 1200-1400 range (usually closer to 1200) for about 9.5 months and need to give myself time to find and adapt to a maintenance range.
I was wondering about what you all have done as you sort of made that transition???
My sedentary TDEE at lunch goal weight is 1550, and currently it is 1631. I stay fairly active (10-20k steps a day, gym at least 4 days a week), though so I am sure I will need to be eating closer to 1700 a day when this is all said and done.
I was thinking about trying a 1300-1500 range for a while (stepping up by 100 calories over what I am currently doing) and seeing how that goes for a few weeks.
Thoughts? Advice? Please help me transition into my next stage!
