8 weeks of CICO and weight training. M36 183CM SW: 124,9KG CW: 117,3KG GW: 85KG

English is not my main language so I apologize for any spelling and/or grammatical errors.

Today I did my 6th and final workout for the week. 8 weeks in a row without missing a single workout.

For the first time in my life I didn’t quit within the first week.

It’s too early to post pictures, I will someday but not yet.

The Plan

Diet

2300 kcal/day

30% Carbs

35% Fats

35% Proteins

What has been really important and helpful for me is that I’m not excluding any foods. I like bread, so I eat bread. Just make sure I hit my macros. Sometimes during the weekend I eat a pizza (half for lunch and half for dinner). Again, just making sure I hit my macros. It’s insane but most of the time I don’t think about food. Many times I have to force my self to eat something just to hit the macros.

My relationship with food has changed drastically. It feels like I’m in control now.

Supplements

100% Whey protein

Workout

Mondays: Chest, Triceps and Abs

Tuesdays: Back, Biceps and Abs

Wednesdays: Shoulders and Legs

Thursdays: Chest, Triceps and Abs

Fridays: Back, Biceps and Abs

Saturdays: Shoulders and Legs

Sundays: Rest

3-4 exercises per muscle group

4 sets 10 reps

I go as heavy as I can with proper form and emphasis on the negative movement of the rep.

Scale victories:

  • So far 7,6KG lost

Non-scale victories:

  • Pants size from 44 to 38 (tight but doable)
  • Went to the movies and was surprised at how easy I fit in the seats. Armrests not digging in the sides anymore (not even touching)
  • Getting more looks from the ladies
  • Feeling much more confident
  • Feeling a lot more muscle when touching myself (easy now)
  • Everyone telling me they see a huge difference

I feel like I’m more motivated than I’ve ever been. Before, I could never understand the people that said they’re addicted to the gym. I do now.

If you’ve made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read. Next update will be week 20.

Take care.
