I’m mostly just curious about what to expect so I’m wondering if anyone has any experiences. I’ve been overweight since I was 12 and obese for almost as long because of how quickly I gained the weight, so I don’t really know/remember what it’s like to have a healthy weight body.
Basically I live in a place where our winters are fairly cold (coldest I remember was -15 F a few years ago) and summers are fairly hot (last summer’s high was like 110 F), and I’m ok with the cold but I basically turn into a sweaty cranky overheated blob once it gets into the 70s and I hide in my bathtub as much as possible for the rest of the summer. I made a comment about it the other day and my SO mentioned that since I’ve lost weight I should be able to handle the heat better this year. I never really thought about the relationship between my weight and my comfort in heat before, but it makes sense to me. I’m probably still going to be obese/overweight by summer time but I’m on track to be 180-200 pounds from 277 last September.
Did you notice a difference in how you handled temperature change when you lost weight? If so, how much weight did you lose before you noticed? Or you feel there was no difference and you feel comfortable doing so, please mention how much weight you lost so I can compare myself
