Tips for losing while disabled

Hi there! Last year I lost 35 pounds (I was 10 pounds from goal weight!) and then I injured my dominant arm and gained most of it back. I had to stop working at my active job. Cooking and cutting vegetables is very strenuous and I’m advised by my doctors not to do repetitive painful activities. Money is also an issue. So buying lots of precut or prepped food is difficult. On top of that. I have depression which has only gotten worse because of my situation. I’m having trouble getting motivated to lose weight, but I think it could be a great thing to work on because so many other aspects of my life are out of my control.

I was able to lose the weight before with CICO, but I feel so intimidated because of my limitations.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

I would love to hear suggestions or words of encouragement.
