This truly will be a lifetime of calorie counting . I gained back 4lbs in a week when I tried to ditch the app.

Ok so after 10 months of CICO and over 90lbs lost , I thought I’d give it a go to not track calories . I thought I’d gotten good enough at eyeballing things and estimating calories. Tracking is exhausting. I said I’d try a week of sticking to the same things I’ve been doing the last 10 months , but not track . Well fuck me that was a mistake . I got on that scale confident that I’d done well only to see a 4lb gain . It took me all of January to loose 4lbs and now it’s back in a week . When I thought I was doing well. . Is this really sustainable - tracking for life ? Clearly simply “being mindful” doesn’t work for me , I didn’t even maintain without tracking . I’m so sick of struggling with food . This is literally never going to get easier .
I swear I was less stressed 90 lbs heavier and enjoying whatever food I wanted . Someone give me a fried chicken sandwich with heavy mayo and my size 22 pants back please .
