My new year's resolution was to get down to 150 (182lbs right now, 23/f). I was doing really well and lost 6 pounds in the first two weeks of January. But then life got really hectic and I sort of put my diet on hold for a bit and I didn't have the time to make food at home, and I ended up gaining the 6 pounds back and I'm right back where I started. Anyway, now this whole week I've been back on track. I've been burning 300-500 calories at the gym every night this week, I've been drinking roughly 64 ounces of water, I've been eating healthy foods and keeping it under 1200 calories (my whole day's food consists of dried cranberries/almonds/cheese or a banana with a little bit of honey for breakfast, egg salad for lunch and 2 baked chicken strips with some asparagus for dinner, and I've been drinking tons of brewed unsweetened tea yesterday and today to try to get even more water in [I hate drinking water ugh]). Normally once I make a change I lose weight really quickly, it's just a matter of motivation. But this week I've been good all week and I've GAINED a pound. I checked this morning after I went to the bathroom and stripped and I'm at 182. I know it's only been a week but I'm getting really discouraged, especially because I was actually feeling pretty good lately (I normally really struggle with motivation but I've been doing really well this week). Idk. I don't know if I'm ranting or wanting an explanation of what I'm doing wrong but I'm just getting bummed out.
