I've made the post where my life basically fell apart and I'm planning on using that as motivation to finally get my health together. I've made a mix of 11am-7pm IF, not eating many bready carbs or starchy vegetables, avoiding added sugars, sodas, and fried foods. I've been nice to myself, I had a piece of bread one day and a cauliflower gnocchi another day and didn't beat myself up at all.
But I stuck to it, eating a LOT of lean proteins and veggies, some low-carb low-sugar protein bars, sticking to 1900 calories and drinking around 120oz of water a day! It's been surprisingly easy, week one down anyway, and I found that I already eat less per meal than before and just remaining conscious of what I'm eating.
And I've lost 8 pounds! I know that early you drop weight quick and then it gets more maintainable, but I'm still excited by PROOF that it's working. That at the very least I'm heading in the right direction.
I cannot thank you all enough for your support, advice, and recipes, I'm still working on replying to everyone (still figuring things out at home), but I wanted to update you all! Thank you!
TL/DR: I've lost eight pounds since my last post, feeling good and motivated by your guys' incredible support. My last post is now my wallpaper of my phone motivator to keep me going!
