[NSV] my appetite has changed so much!

A little background: i was a thin kid with an obese mom who was constantly telling me i was fat. That caused me to have a bad relationship with food, a terrible self perception, and some digestive issues. When i moved out, my weight slowly started to creep up. While trying to get to a better place mentally, i ended up overeating a lot & gained a lot more weight.

Since October 2018 i've been gradually lowering the amount of calories i eat each day and exercising more. I kept it up during the holidays too. I'm down to eating on average about 1500 calories a day. The other day I went out to breakfast at my favorite restaurant. They serve huge plates of food & I usually would eat most of the food. That is way too much for someone as short as me. But this time I ate about a third of it and stopped being as interested in the food. I was confused because i mentally felt like i hadn't eaten "enough". But physically i was satisfied. I ate a few more bites anyway, which i somewhat regretted because then i felt stuffed. But i still count this as a victory. The fact that my appetite has shifted so much from where it was is really great. My brain is still catching up to this change. But now I think I can start working on listening to my body. My ultimate goal in this journey is to be able to intuitively eat most of the time & only track sometimes to check in with myself. In only 4 months, i feel like i've made so much progress.
