I revisit this list often, especially when I'm hating the gym.
1) So my boots won't be tight on my calves.
2) So I won't be grossed out when I see myself naked.
3) So I'll know the feeling of being desired again.
4) So I'll feel like having sex again.
5) So I can stop shopping in plus-sized clothing sections.
6) So I can reach hard-to-get-to scratches again.
7) So I can wear/find cute clothes again
8) So I won't be afraid of going out in public.
9) So I can post pictures again.
10) So I won't feel like shit when I see someone who hasn't seen me since I've gotten fat.
11) So I won't feel guilty and ashamed while eating.
12) So I won't feel guilty and ashamed while drinking a Dr. Pepper! (note: this one had an exclamation point, because that's how much I love Dr. Pepper.)
13) So little tasks won't get me out of breath.
14) So I will be more comfortable in general.
15) So I can wear yoga pants or leggings.
16) So I won't feel inferior to thin girls.
17) So my posture will improve.
18) So that people who have only known me while I'm fat will get to see me skinny.
19) So I can hear people say, "Have you lost weight?"
20) So I won't have a double chin.
21) So my mom will shut the fuck up.
22) So I can cross my legs comfortably again.
It still took me another year and a half to lose weight. But I finally got my shit together and lost 40 lbs.
