I've been fretting the last couple of weeks feeling like I'm not losing fast enough and lost a bit of motivation.
For the last three weeks I might have just lost one lb and that annoyed me. But then I googled what one lb of body fat actually looks like, and it is amazing.
One lb of body fat is more than a real handful of fat. One lb of body fat is more than a can of tomatoes One lb of body fat is more than a coffee mug
So even though I've only lost one coffee mug the last three weeks, in total I'm 17 mugs of fat smaller than four months ago.
And that got me thinking, what if I had to carry 17 coffee mugs on my body at all times now? That would be bulky, uncomfortable and annoying. So I'm never going back. And I'd rather lose a mug a month than none at all.
So if it's going slowly for you as well, I hope these pics will encourage you too to not give up!
