For the last 2 years I have always told myself, one more day and I’ll start going to the gym. One more week and I’ll start eating healthier. One more month and I’ll completely change myself. When I started running I finally felt like I was changing myself, then someone told me that running will leave me skinny fat and that I should gym instead. Everyday I face a big dilemma because it is hard for me to actually go to the gym as I have no confidence to do it alone, and I can’t run because I’m scared of being skinny fat. And I don’t eat right because if I’m not working out then it doesn’t matter, right? I know I’m wrong but it feels like if I’m not doing it all perfectly, then there’s no point in doing it at all. What happens if I only control my diet to a specific amount of calories ( which I can do very well and have experience of) and don’t workout? I need something to spur me on and help me actually start doing something instead of nothing at all.
