[rant] Getting back on the wagon after a week of low motivation/discipline.

Last week I was 13.9st and this week I'm 14.1st, it's not much of a gain and I am thankful it wasn't more than it could've been for sure but it was annoying to see. I've been feeling pretty low this past week, I got given a lot of chocolate for Christmas and my birthday which I'm of course grateful for but there's a part of me that knows it's no good for me being here. I also haven't been sticking to the HIT cardio I was doing every morning / every other morning and I feel less disciplined for that, combined with eating some of the junk I've been given.

Two weeks ago I bought some dumb bells and they came a few days ago. They're 10kg each which is a good upgrade from my 9 year old 4.5kg dumb bells I've had since I was 15, which I could use all day and not feel much at all. These 10kg dumb bells get about 7-9 reps off me and my arms can't do more, which was pretty motivating for me because now I have a new little side goal to get more than 10 bicep curls from these dumb bells. Tomorrow I'll do my 20 minutes of HIT cardio, I promise.

Thanks for hearing my ramblings out.
