my first sense of achievement :)

Hey all you shiny people :)

I am 28 y/o woman from Vienna/Austria and I started my weightloss-story last week. I've tried it a few times before, but now I know it will work this time, simply because my approach is totally different and more of a "switching to a healthy lifestyle" than a diet - and because I found this subreddit and r/progresspics, which is very motivating for me! :)

I just wanted to share my first senses of achievement with you girls and boys :) I intend to eat healthier, less carbs, no snacks, much more water and especially no alcohol -> I allow myself one cheat day per week (but not escalating).

So I was invited to a birthday party yesterday and I did not drink any alcoholic bevereges, and instead stayed with water with lemon. When I got on the scale today (I weigh myself every morning, I need this in order not to lose control and to motivate myself) I was super excited as it shows that I lost more than 2 lbs since yesterday morning and overall 6 lbs!! I'm super happy for this motivation-boost at the beginning and looking forward to my trial session at the fitness center today :)

Hope you all have a supernice day :)
