A little about me. 36F 5ft2in. Two years ago I was at my heaviest. 165 lbs. Maybe more, but I was afraid to weigh. Last year I was able to drop 10 pounds, but struggled with mental health and thyroid issues, so I didn't get any further. 6 months ago I tried keto and it made me so sick, the. I tried going vegan and turns out most vegan food that's not veggies or fruit is made of soy, which does not do well for my thyroid. I watched a lot and I mean a lot of food documentaries. I just want to eat healthy. No fad diet.
Decided like most to wait till after the holidays to start my journey. December 31st I was 153. I started reading all of these posts by everyone and gaining confidence. Calculated my TDEE and started CICO in MFP. My husband got a smart trainer for indoor cycling and I could also hook my bike up. I'm not a gym or outside excersiser lol. So with tracking my food and making healthier choices (cutting gluten, no drinking, and cutting sugar way down), and cycling almost every day. I'm down to 149 today. Not a lot, but I'm on my way! My goal is to be healthier and stronger and to get to 110lbs eventually. I'm so thankful for this subreddit. It's motivating me and inspiring. Thank you all!
