it just kind of hit me that to lose weight, i'm going to have to be hungry and i'm going to have to want some things i can't have. i'm not talking about getting fit or eating healthier or gaining muscle, but losing weight specifically. i believe that losing weight requires a calorie deficit. it hasn't worked for me to always eat when i'm hungry, even if i want an apple or something healthy, because all food has calories. sometimes i'm just going to have to be hungry and it's not the end of the world. obviously i won't starve myself, eating three meals a day is hardly starving, i'm just not going to be able to eat sometimes.
